The appearance of Covid19 stopped us in our tracks and changed many habits and aspects of our lives on a global scale.
It infused stress, fear, loss and pain. And with those changes, many Lightworkers have stepped up to bring healing energies to us as a means of coping. Here are a few ways that reiki has helped me.
Reiki Circles: Our circles could no longer be in person, but are now through a telephone conference call. And yet, the simple act of intention and sending reiki long distance still produces a strong calm healing, helping us to heal and feel empowered. We now also have reiki practitioners call in from many states across the country, thus accommodating those beyond the local practitioners.
Water: Thankfully, the universe has a way of sending me a message often in different formats to let me know what I need. Water was one of them. Water kept coming up, in conversations, on t.v., a leaking toilet and even on one of the Ascended Masters cards picked one night in a reiki circle. It said plainly “Drink More Water”. Message received. What I had forgotten though, was the simple act of sending reiki to my drinking water. Anyone that has read about Masaru Emoto and his experiments on water knows that water in the presence of prayer, gratitude, love, classical music and yes reiki, can raise the vibration and cause the water to crystalize into incredibly beautiful patterns when frozen. Since our physical bodies are composed of a large percentage of water, I can understand how important sending reiki to our drinking water can be. And, imagine what we create when we take showers and are resonating prayer, gratitude, love, hope…
Food: Now, eating out means getting in my car and picking up some carry-out. As my partner drives us home with our meals, I send reiki to the food. I also can send reiki to food being delivered as well as to meals at home.
Reiki at Night: Many of us awaken at night and have a difficult time getting back to sleep if we allow ourselves to think and let anxiety set in. Instead, this is a good time for me to send reiki to friends, family, situations and myself. I also send reiki to my throw blanket for added comfort.
I’m sure there are many other ways reiki can help us heal and move forward. If you have any practices or ideas, please send them our way. We would love to hear from you. Much love to you,
Julie Hygh
